MUSIC GENERATION IRELAND COLLECTIVE

We are delighted to welcome Music Generation Ireland Collective to play for us this afternoon. Comprised of harp ensembles from Music Generations Laois, Louth, Mayo and Waterford, they will perform a selection of newly composed music including Cláirseoireacht, specially composed for them by Michael Rooney. The Collective is led by various ensemble directors and today it is Deirdre Ní Bhuachalla (Louth).

GRACE STEWART SKINNER

Highland player Grace will perform traditional tunes and her own compositions, which feature some newly commissioned material from some of her recent projects. All her compositions echo her traditional roots, while still having a contemporary feel.
