C05 - ADRIANO SANGINETO/TARRAN
ADRIANO SANGINETO
Arpa Creativa
A welcome return for Adriano, the popular Italian clarsach player. He will perform his Arpa Creativa show with the clarsach becoming an extension of his exuberant personality. His own lively compositions set hands and feet irresistibly moving demonstrating the percussive nature of the instrument and expanding its rhythmic and harmonic capabilities.
TARRAN
Tarran are an exhilarating contemporary folk group from Glasgow with roots in both Ireland and the Western Isles of Scotland. The strong, melodic frontline of Malachy Arnold on harp and Breanna Wilson on fiddle, combined with the funk, blues and upbeat rhythms from Sophie Joint on keys and Rory Stark on bodhran creates a lively and innovative twist on traditional music. Tarran have been captivating audiences across Europe since 2019, recently playing at Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow where they claimed the “Battle of the Folk Bands award. Currently working on their new EP, the band have a great number of thrilling sets that they are hungry to share with EIHF!
