THE LATIN AMERICAN HARP RHYTHMIC AND MELODIC POSSIBILITIES

4 DAY COURSE: Sat / Sun / Mon / Tue 1pm - 2.30pm

LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced (see brochure p23 for explanation)
TEACHING METHOD E+M: Teaching will be initially by ear with written music

This course is suitable both for players of Latin American harps and lever harp players who already have some experience of the music. Sixto will discuss and teach the different rhythmic and melodic possibilities of musical genres from Paraguay and neighbouring regions with emphasis on 6/8 rhythms.
