ANNE-MARIE O’FARRELL
Hailing from Dublin, Anne-Marie is renowned for her innovations on lever harp. She takes us on a fascinating journey in which the harp imitates the sounds of lute, guitar, early keyboard and mandolin.
She has composed several large-scale works, including a lever harp concerto, In Light Anew, a Civil War Cantata and a five-movement ensemble work commissioned by Harp Ireland. Her works have been performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and Liverpool Philharmonic and she is Head of Harp at the Royal Northern College of Music.
