TEACHING METHOD E+M: Teaching will be initially by ear with written music

Come and explore music from the Irish harping tradition, featuring music by O’Carolan and from the Bunting Collection. We’ll learn tunes written for all kinds of reasons and occasions, showing the wonderful range in this rich tradition. Some tunes will be in different modes typical of Irish folk music, and the arrangements given will help you get to know more about harmony and left-hand skills.
