W06 - To Teach Online or Not to Teach online? That is the Question! Shelley Fairplay and Isobel Mieras

Shelley will open the session by sharing the good, the bad, the ugly, and amazing opportunities online learning can create for harp students and teachers. We explore how it differs from working face to face, including technical, physical and emotional considerations and look at some tried and tested strategies for successful online lessons both from the perspective of students and teachers. Isobel will then chair an open discussion. Join us to share your personal experience of online and live teaching as we learn together how to develop best practices for the benefit of the harping community.
