Discover the stories behind some new tunes after last year’s successful course. No need to have attended that course to enjoy this one. Often the composers of traditional melodies are forgotten in the ‘mist of time’ but the stories and legends behind their tunes can still be uncovered. In this class we will learn some great tunes that also have great stories attached to them. You might just want to know the background of a melody to give more colour to your introductions, or add depth to your performance, or you might be interested in weaving the tunes and stories together.
