W08 - Composition by Caroline Lizotte

Caroline will give an overview of writing for the pedal harp, with examples through music scores, collections and books.  She will demonstrate composition concept progression from initial inspiration to scoring, and processing from image to music and/or music to image, with examples through her works. Caroline was named Composer of the Year at the Prix Opus 2023 and will be the central composer at One Harp World in 2026.

Participants are welcome to bring scores for questions.
