C01 - Rachel Hair and Ron Jappy / Laura Perrudin
ASSEMBLY HALL
RACHEL HAIR & RON JAPPY
Take Scotland’s oldest
instrument, add its newest session sidekick, swirl them through
Glasgow’s music scene and out pops the harp and guitar duo Rachel Hair &
Ron Jappy! With dazzling harp and driving guitar, they blend their love
of Scottish tunes with their Highlands and North-East upbringing,
resulting in crisp strathspeys, heartfelt airs and toe-tapping jigs and
reels. Fresh from tours worldwide, they’re known for playful energy,
musical chemistry, and stories that charm their audiences as much as the
tunes.
