TIME: Mon 11.00 - 12.00
TUTOR: Bill

We
all know that the strings ring on all harps. Playing in ‘the stopped
style’ offers a fingernail method using damping techniques both to clarify
the melody and to cleanly execute ornamentation. Historically, we find
that, since the Middle Ages, all kinds of harps used damping techniques
for hundreds of years. Come to this participatory workshop and learn from
the wisdom of the ancients.
You are welcome to bring a harp to the
Workshop.
